I didn’t grow up as a natural speaker. In fact, I used to become beet red whenever the attention was on me. I hated it.
In 2017, I took on a challenge that felt impossible: I decided to compete in the World Championship of Public Speaking. I had no formal training, no polished speeches—just a burning desire to figure out why speaking felt so hard.
